The location was lovely, looking out on fields and animals and it’s peaceful even though it’s near a main road you can’t really hear it. There was plenty of space, nice bathroom and kitchen, good facilities and very coz, we had enough kitchenware for us. I liked the little message saying have a lovely stay too.

Beds weren’t the comfiest, very soft and main room had a lumpy mattress. No toilet paper which I found very strange because it’s a basic provision so we had to go out immediately and buy some. Not good after a long journey. Also no cleaning spray or cloths so felt like we couldn’t clean up properly before we left. Just a small amount of washing up liquid and a scourer. While the bedding and towels were all very clean, and generally around the house was clean, there were parts of the house that hadn’t been cleaned properly like bits on the floor and in corners of the room. Some of the pans, trays, cutlery etc for cooking had to be washed before use. Microwave was very rusty inside, could do with changing. Also I had to work on a laptop and the kitchen table had very wobbly benches which I felt might break so ended up working on a very small dressing table.

Main bed was a small double and not very big for me and my husband to share
