Fair base for a family to enjoy the beach - but not 'Awesome'.

Location is good. About 400m uphill to supermarket and 400m downhill to the beach, restaurants and bars. The apartment was spacious and had two balconies, with one being particularly large. The outside area around the pool was well kept and quiet (but nothing to sit on). Kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge and plenty of pans. Once we'd got over the issues on arrival we liked staying there.

The bedding (which we'd paid extra for) was nylon. We could not sleep in it and had to go out and buy cotton sheets and pillowcases (a 3km round walk to town). Some aspects of the apartment were showing their age - bath is worn. More could have been done to make guests comfortable - e.g. salt, pepper ,more than half a roll of toilet paper between 2 bathrooms. TV reception was very poor. Not 'Awesome' but a bit more care for guests would make it a fair choice.

Good

The location was fantastic

I was aware of extra payment to be paid when I received the confirmation, but when we arrived the host didn't take the money off us, so I thought it would come off the credit card I booked the accommodation with, but they came on the night before we are leaving which was a bit of a pain because they took £143 euros which on your last night you don't expect, why they didn't taken it off us at the start I don't know so it did dampen things a little.
