This was a nice hotel with a restaurant, located just over the border with the Netherlands.
Nothing really.
8 / 10Excellent·sept. 2026
We recently stayed at dS Hotel in Gronau for a gig at Metropool / Hengelo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The room was spacious, clean, and included a huge shower, a king-size bed, free Wi-Fi, and free on-site parking, which made our stay even more convenient. The city centres of Enschede and Hengelo were easy to reach by car, making the hotel a great base for exploring the area and attending events.
Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again. We can definitely recommend dS Hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in the area.
The only small criticism would be that there was no fridge and no desk in the room. As the room is big enough, this could improve.

Het zwembad met zonneterras en ligbedden. Gunstige horeca prijzen. Duits ontbijt.
Geen uitgebreide diner kaart.
