Location is great, just 5-10 min walk to the Main shopping Street in Otaru. The house is extremely nice with a superb view to the ocean. It is very spacious
The water in the shower are relatively weak and unstable from cold to hot. Not a major problem during summer

The location although up a very steep hill was good. We could walk down to the main little village area (with caution!). The massage chair was a big hit after a long day snowboarding. The teenagers made use of the mini pool table every night, although not super practical in location or size it did the job to entertain them!
Good communication with the owners in regard to parking, and pre check in luggage storage.
We had space for a couple of extra people, perhaps 2 families would make it more affordable.
Great views… overall it was pretty good!
The ground floor double bedrooms mattress was incredibly hard, that said, we were able to soften it with the excess bedding provided. I would recommend that there be a bin chart so those who are not locals can understand what is meant to go into each bin, and explain the food scraps/combustible/non burnable a little better.
