Everything tbh, found it all made a fantastic stay at Oban.
We were upgraded which was great, but I found Everything great anyway.
The hotel was a proper old traditional style Scottish hotel, which is what I was hoping for. I loved all the decor, which I've read, some comments of needing some work, I couldn't disagree more, good traditional style for me. Fantastic.
Breakfast was great, staff superb, thank you. Loved Oban.
10am check out , its a bit of a rush when chilling, having breakfast, and just enjoying the hospitality, but its minor.

On Arrival the receptionist was very pleasant, however I had difficulty understanding her accented English. The suite was pleasant but the beds were quite hard and the decor was out of colonial 19th century India. Did everything have to be painted Gold? The Tables, chairs, wardrobe and bedside tables all Gold. The curtains were made out of what looked like Sari material.
Dining. The evening meal, we ordered Beef Shoulder, but what turned up looked and tasted like it had come out of a tin of Princes stewing steak. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet, The eggs were solid, the bacon was so salty I was still rinsing my mouth 8 hours later, The sausages were value and tasteless. Everything smacked of keeping the price down, even the orange juice was watered down it tasted like cheap squash.
