The friendliest staff I’ve ever met at a hotel! V comfortable bed, great views, brilliant breakfast and good value

It’s a little dated in places but clean comfortable and great value so can’t really complain!

Positioned in one if the rear 'lodge' rooms we found we could every sound from the adjoining lodge Bathroom tap was quite an unusual design where the on/off position changed each time you used it Room was quite small

The room was clean good for location to visit family

They had coach party there and only informed me when I arrived which effected the service like reduced room service and evening meal, on my second evening I wanted a meal as the location of the hotel is quite far from the town this was why I booked as it offer evening meals. I was informed due to coach trip customers they could only offer late option from 8pm due to my health I can't eat late so that evening I didn't eat. They didn't want to know it was a matter of fact when I was on the hotel phone talking to the receptionist. This was the second time I booked and I will not be booking again.
