We absolutely loved staying at Evans House! We chose it especially for the terrace, which was perfect for relaxing in the evenings when our son was too tired to go out. We also loved the open-plan space.
The location was fantastic — just 2–3 minutes from the beach, which was never crowded, and only a 10–15 minute walk to the Venetian Harbour. We loved being in a quiet area while still being so close to everything.
The apartment had everything we needed, even though we didn’t cook. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose Evans House again when we return to Crete. Highly recommended!
The only small thing that was a little inconvenient for me was that the clothes hanging rail was quite high, so I needed to ask my husband to reach it for me 😊. There isn’t a huge amount of hanging space, but there are plenty of drawers, so overall it wasn’t a problem.
