The St Regis Shanghai Jingan

My mum, sisters and I stayed at the St Regis Jingan for our first visit ever to Shanghai. Our experience at St Regis was wonderful from the moment we arrived to Shanghai to the moment we left. The hotel concierge had organised a private transfer from the airport to the hotel. When we stepped off the plane, we were immediately greeted and assisted through customs and baggage claim. The drive over was easy and luxurious, just what was needed after a long flight. The staff are exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful at St Regis. They were always there for any questions or need we had, and were very warm when assisting us. The breakfast was fresh, clean, well organised and delicious. The location of the hotel was walking distance from nearby shopping and local restaurants, and just a short drive to popular areas such as The Bund, Anfu Road, Yiyuan Temple etc. The rooms were extremely clean and well kept on a daily basis. They were spacious and very comfortable for resting and sleeping. A special mention to Mr Peng for his kindness and happiness every day when we would leave and return to the hotel. And Frankie for his excellent problem solving skills in navigating transportation when leaving the hotel to Beijing. Overall, a perfect stay. We will certainly return to St Regis Jingan in future when visiting Shanghai again.

I stayed at The St. Regis Shanghai for a business trip, and the experience was fantastic. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. When my travel plans were disrupted by a typhoon, forcing me to book an extra night, the team went above and beyond to accommodate me and let me stay in the exact same room without any hassle. It was a very pleasant stay despite the weather, and I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be back next year.

Overall nice and clean

Staff quality, room maintenance (looked dated, some things don’t work, drawers don’t close completely 🤦🏻‍♀️), evening service was not consistent (some days are good other days I got none)
