The host was excellent, very helpful, gave us welcome gifts of coffee, tea and wine. The double bed and single beds were very comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped - fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, sandwich maker, coffee machine and all necessary cutlery and pots.
The balcony is a very pleasant place to sit, many lovely flowers in front, even if not facing the sea or mountain.
The bathroom is small but fully functional and clean, with many complimentary products - soap, shower gel, shampoo etc.
The place is located quite close to the beach, on a little alley with a less cool vibe, yet safe and clean.
It was very helpful that we got a parking place, as we rented a car from the airport. It was a very tight place, reminded me of my driving school time :))
I put the "buts" in the first section, there was nothing unpleasant or annoying, keep going!

We loved the setup of the flat with a large living room with air conditioning, sofa and TV with Netflix and YouTube.
There were also great kitchen facilities such as an oven, hob and fridge freezer which we made good use of.
The bathroom was great with a decent sized shower and a washing machine on the patio, which we also made use of.
The bedroom had a large comfortable bed and we also had a parking space to park the hire car, which was incredibly helpful as parking was restricted in the area.
The location was fantastic - 1 minute walk to the beach and in the hub of bars and restaurants.
Sofia the host was also wonderful - she met us on arrival late at night, showed us where to park the car and showed us round the flat. There was also some bottled water, wine, fresh fruit and some cakes on arrival. The cleaning was also great as we had a 9 night stay.
The bedroom didn’t have air conditioning, so could get hot - but there was a fan in there to help with temperature so sleep wasn’t an issue, despite the high heat in Crete in July.

- Location (close to the beach and the best crepes in Crete (Mario))
- The host Sofia: helpful and explaining
- Spacious room and balcony
- Comfortable beds
