Hotel Forest Lake Backpackers' Hostel

I initially stayed in a dorm and switched to a private room, the beds were all comfortable with good bedding and pillows. The dorm had a fan for each bed, and the private room had air conditioning and a fan. The staff were so nice, I couldn’t fault them on how friendly, supportive and kind they were. From helping with buying coach tickets back to Kathmandu, checking in on me when I was unwell and making great coffee. The location was good as it was a bit quieter and not right in the centre but not far away from lots of nice cafes/restaurants and paddle boarding/kayaking. Common area is nice and you have an amazing view of the lake from every floor.

Due to being unwell I had to move to a private room as the dorm was a bit hot whilst under the weather but other than that no complaints at all

Excellent location. Just next to the gate that enters the lake prominade . The staff are all very friendly and happy to help with any information about the local area regarding Bus stations/Jeeps Treks or anything else. Very clean rooms , chilled atmosphere with a good common area... They also have laundry facilities
