Ocean Boho House

Excellent restaurant, personnel accueillant, belle décoration, piscine agréable. Chambre propre et confortable. Situé dans un quartier local à proximité de la route principale et de la plage. L’hôte est très serviable et nous a organisé un super safari à Mikumi.

Nous savions qu’il n’y avait pas de générateur mais malheureusement les coupures de courant étaient longues et fréquentes lors de notre séjour… sur 4 nuits ce n’était pas agréable de ne pas pouvoir se doucher comme on voulait. La chambre/sdb pourrait être davantage équipée (rangements, tapis, rideaux occultants…)

They did not have a back up when there’s a load shedding. They need to invest on other alternatives for electricity back (generators or solar panels)

The Location is amazing. It is just a short walk to the beach. The hotel has a serene and calm feel to it. We relaxed by the pool in the day and had the most romantic dinners at night. There was even a :Night Market" on Friday wich was really special with lots of different foods from different countries on offer. Our room was spacious, clean and serviced regularly. Honestly it was one of our most romantic and relaxing getaways. The highlights were definitely the food, exceptional breakfast, our favorite lunch item was the "Smash Burger" they also have a shop SMASH Burger now in Paje! Dinner was always fabulous and romantic. The feel of the place is very charming. There is also a shop with the most beautiful clothes, jewelry and so much more. I spend the same amount on merchandise then on my stay, but it was worth it. The rooms are very spacious and clean and has a BOHO CHIC to it. Staff are always friendly and attentive. From carrying our bags to switching on our AC and water heater, they literally will not let you do anything. The manager and her team need a big applause. They made us feel welcome and Safe at all times. They even arranged tours and taxis for us at very reasonable prices, compared to some of the other places.

The staff and the air conditioning.

Lack of communication and professionalism by “management.” I didn’t care for the filthy guest fridge. Also, it shouldn’t be a challenge to lock the door upon entering and exiting every time. A simple fix now could prevent unnecessary anxiety and stress. I was not pleased with the child-size stools and “play table” in the room, or the sad dilapidated crate pretending to be a table on the so-called “patio.”
