The Shire Hotel

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rest of our party stayed at a hotel across the street for more than double our cost for a comparable room. Glad we picked the Hotel Shire and would stay there again.

Slightly overpriced

The Hotel has been carefully prepared as a niche location for a stay in Rome. The rooms were as described and we were welcomed on arrival and shown our rooms and the breakfast area. The room we had was adequate in size, nicely decorated with enough storage area for clothes etc. The room faced into the centre of the building and the shower room which was set up for disabled access was huge. The breakfast was prepared daily and was lovely with the coffee machine producing a range of nice coffee options. The free bottle of wine and bunch of grapes in the room was a nice touch.The staff were all very helpful and organised our transfer to FCO airport on our last day as we had an early start.

Everything was wonderful, location, rooms, breakfast and staff. Thank you for a lovely stay. One point to note when arriving the hotel is next door to Harry’s Bar and not on the opposite as detailed on google maps.
