Grand Kata VIP - Kata Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Kata VIP! The hotel is lovely, and the staff are very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfasts were good, with a nice selection of food. Our room was cleaned every day, and towels were replaced daily as well. We stayed in the Two Bedroom Grand Deluxe, which is a great option for a family of four. The second bedroom is a little small, but it has a window, which is a plus. Both bedrooms and the living room have their own air conditioning. A deposit is required at check-in. At check-out, the staff inspected the room and returned the deposit without any issues. The only unpleasant experience was an email we received a couple of days before arrival, asking us to reconfirm our reservation, even though it had already been fully paid for. The email stated that our booking would be cancelled if we didn't confirm it. I found this a bit stressful and unnecessary. The beach is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. I didn't notice any hotel shuttle service, so I'm not sure whether one was available. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Grand Kata VIP, especially for families!

The perfect hotel to stay in Phuket!

The location is great, daily housekeeping, helpful staff, nice but small gym. I stayed in this apartment directly with Grand Kata VIP but I also stayed in one of their apartments which was individually managed by a private individual. The one by Grand Kata VIP directly massively surpassed the other, so I highly recommend.

I didn't eat breakfast so can't comment. If I were being picky, I didn't like that for deliveries I had to go down. In other hotels, laundry delivery or food delivery companies could come upstairs. In this case, it made me not want to order delivery because by the time I went to reception for collection of items I could just have easily gone outside to a food or laundry place as they were literally just outside.
