Cézanne Hôtel

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. But the bar prices are very reasonable i.e. one bottle of Chardonnay white wine €15. The room was nice and clean and there was a fridge in the room - though a bit too small - a wine bottle could not stand up in the fridge. However these ar4e minor things.

What I would have liked to know was to have been informed that upon arrival and having paid for the room well in advance, hotel Cezanne asked me for a deposit of €80 before we could enter the room. I am 80 years of age and have extensively traveled the world in my time. Never have I been asked for a deposit after having paid the room rate in advance. That I must say came as big surprise and I suggest that you in the future inform your clients about this. To be honest I thought that the whole idea of booking through B.com and paying in advance was to guarantee to the hotel for your clients. Best regards Palle Münster

Accueil très chaleureux, personnel discret et attentionné. L’hôtel est très calme, paisible et on s’y sent vraiment en sécurité, avec une ambiance très intimiste. Gros point positif pour l’emplacement : tout est accessible à pied en 10 à 15 minutes, notamment la Croisette. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour !

Honnêtement, nous n’avons rien de particulier à reprocher. Tout a été à la hauteur de nos attentes, voire au-delà. L’hôtel est tellement calme et paisible que nous avons rarement aussi bien dormi pendant un séjour. Nous avons vraiment tout apprécié, de l’accueil au personnel en passant par l’ambiance.

Nothing, really

The staff were amazing - very helpful, courteous, and unfailingly pleasant despite our (very) bad French. Both the front-of-house/reception team and the cleaning staff were lovely.

So, the SPA is apparently still closed. Looking at other questions/reviews for the hotel it was closed in 2025 too, and the first notification I got that it is STILL closed was less than a week before we arrived, at which point it was too late to book elsewhere. There's also no mention of this anywhere on the listing, or on the main website which just doesn't mention the spa at all. Rooms are fine, but that's about it. They were clean, although the carpets look a bit mucky. Supposedly there's a desk, but we only had a narrow shelf that had an annoying slope so things would roll off if you're not careful, and a *very* small cupboard.
