Hotel Villa Monte Vino

This a most picturesque property in its own ( beautifully kept) gardens with pergolas and mature trees, great views and areas to sit and enjoy them. It is in a very quiet up market residential area, cobbled streets and lots of trees. My room was clean and comfortable, and well provided with small enhancements to help me enjoy my stay. Great sauna! But don't pay the Pfand if you've handed it back, as I did.

I don't think much of the TV stations but I might have just chosen poorly. Also the room was overheated although the thermostats were set right down. And the instant coffee, although thoughtful, was tasteless and horrible. The tea wasn't much better.

Old world charm, lovely large room, great breakfast on terrace.

A bit of a walk into town centre, but really not that bad.

The hotel is a beautiful villa with garden offering a wonderful view over the city of Potsdam. It is located 5 - 10 min walk from the Sans-Souci palace and garden and 15 - 20 min from the city center. The area is residential with beautiful villas and buildings. The room we were given is located in a building detached from the villa. It was spacious and with direct access to the garden. It is equipped with eveeything we needed. Breakfast is served in the villa and it offers savoury ans sweet dishes. The hotel has paid parking slots which we used. The hotel is on the mid-high price but the quality, the beautiful villa and accommodation justifies it. Recommended.

nice hotel with a lot of stairs

room had a lot of traffic (tv person came at least twice, handymen working outside our window, people walking past at all hours) we switched to a higher (more stairs) and less spacious room
