The room is small but comfortable. The bed was excellent!! We slept straight through the night. Very comfy. Breakfast and coffee were great.
The man who checked us in wasn’t very friendly, but the staff at breakfast and at the desk in the morning were excellent.
The friendly kitty is a bonus!
The shower was not enjoyable. Water goes everywhere! There should probably be a curtain or shower door.
It’s a little far off the main route around Iceland.

We enjoyed a lovely room overlooking the lake. The breakfast was huge with tons of choices. Because we stayed during the off-season, one of the two restaurants was closed, meaning dinners were served as a buffet. That didn't stop it from being great, though—there was a massive spread of starters like soup, salads, cold meats, and smoked salmon, plus five different main dishes to choose from every evening.
The noise levels late in the evening from the hot tub users and late arriving guests.
Adding a soft-close mechanism to the exterior hot tub door would be a helpful upgrade. Additionally, courtesy signs in the hallways reminding late-arriving groups to keep noise levels down would greatly improve the stay for other guests.
