Our allocated room was not good, we had paid for Superior. However we were moved on request and happy with our room. Lifts were efficient and. Quick despite being on the 3rd floor.

Staff did apologise for waiting because they had only one chef that evening what vas very nice of them. Diner was very nice ,tables setting with with lovely napkins beautiful

Good position in nice surroundings
Obscure taste in furnishings in the rooms and bar area. Room was a mix of semi modern and new furniture that looked like it was from the 70’s - no particular theme and doesn’t match the building - bathroom was large but looked like a DIY person had fitted it out. Bit like staying in an old Travel lodge room even tho paid for a superior twin🤷🏻♀️

Location was great
Ridiculous route through a tiny corridor up little stairs with my luggage, terrible access. Mattress was thin and uncomfortable with springs sticking out. Bedroom was cold and had really bad corridor noise. Tired decor. Kettle had no plug next to it, had to move it to the floor by the bed!! No full length mirror. Definitely not worth £140. Plus the car park was rammed AND an extra £5 but not for 24 hrs only til checkout so you had to rush from the hotel to the car to move it in time.
