Beaufort Hotel

I ran the lochness marathon and it was perfectly located for that and the town centre. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast both were really good. I would definitely recommend. I was travelling with my husband and 3 children 5, 10 and 12 years old. They loved there stay. They also put an early breakfast on for the marathon runners which I thought was a great option.

We came to stay for the weekend and we were not disappointed. On arrival the hotel looked lovely from the outside and the inside which was decorated for Halloween and it was extremely well done. We were welcomed and informed of the layout., breakfast times and times of evening meals should we wish to eat in the hotel. We were shown the entrance into the hotel after midnight should we be out late. The cocktail bar was lovely and the bar staff were great. Especially our Australian barman, he made everyone who entered the bar feel welcome and chatted to all. There was a birthday party in the function hall which was well attended but there was little more no real disruption to hotel guests. We were made aware of the party on booking in. The room was lovely and clean and the curtains blocked out all light which made for a good nights sleep.

The lack of available plug sockets at the bedside.

The hotel is well located. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The cosy room was small but clean and good working shower. Nice to able to park your car at hotel with no extra charge. The breakfast had a good choice and was very good as was the evening meal as we ate there every night.

Maybe a larger bed next time.

Location was great a short walk to the centre and it had parking

3 flights of stairs with our suitcases, room decor was dated and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
