The property was clean and had a beautiful view of the sea and Vulcano Stromboli.
Limited transportation into town. Unlike most of Italy, Calabrians do not speak a lot of English. So, if you don't speak the native tongue, you will have difficulties.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet at night. Gardens are so perfectly landscaped. Sea front is stunning with plenty of lounge chairs. Pool looked very inviting but it was mostly too cold in May to swim.
Breakfast was a lovely spread including gluten free bread and croissants upon request. Only had lunch there once but it was nice and ingredients were fresh. Staff were so very friendly and just so happy to help.
Drinks with sunset would have to be the highlight.
While this isn’t a dislike but a heads up that without a car you’ll need to pay for a shuttle to get to and from the hotel to the main town. Though there is a train about 20 min walk away so if you’re active you could do that. Theres also a lovely restaurant with a view about 30 mins walk away too.
