A great location: a 10 min walk from the train station and also just beside the beautiful canal district. Lovely public onsen on the top floor with lots of perks such as ice cream, pyjamas, free evening ramen and massage chairs in the public area. Rooms were a decent size for Japan.
Breakfast was great, a buffet which meant lots of vegetarian options for me. We were also able to leave our luggage on departure day which was useful.

We always really like the Dormy Inn onsens. We also appreciate the free ice cream. Breakfast was good (not great for us).
Our room was quite small. Bed was also small and pillows (as mentioned in the reviews of others) were small and hard. With so many people commenting on them, it’s probably time for the hotel to switch these out.

The onsen was fantastic. Beds were comfy. Excellent facilities. Best place we stayed in Japan.
