Hotel Ilisia

we got off a late night flight to thessalonika. we got the bus to ilysia hotel. you get off the bus at kolomvou stop (pronounced kolumbo). you cross the road there. you turn left, walk about hundred metres, and there it is on your right. a nice old and grand hotel. place has a wonderfull old world feel about it, for instance the old staircase you can see from reception. it is a totally clean place. it is also totally qiute place, no noise at all. We got a great nights sleep. Breakfast suite on the top floor, two nice helpfull ladies there. breakfast was ok. we stayed inside, but you can have breakfast on the balcony. to get back to the airport, you walk out the front door, turn left,walk fifty metres, and there is the airport bus stop. loads of other bus stops as well. all in all, a great place, and we will visit again for sure.

Hotel very convenient, friendly and professional staff

Its a cheap hotel and good value for money. Terrific value for money. Terrific location.

But don’t expect a great breakfast buffet. Very basic stuff. And shower was in with the toilet. That was strange.

Good for a short stay. The staff is friendly and helpful.

There were dust under the bed. The 2nd bed is a sofa bed. It's very noisy on weekend because there's a disco right next to the hotel. The bathroom is tiny. Expensive for being a 1 star hotel.
