Very nice ryokan with good facilities and onsen. Walking distance to all the places.
We were charged an additional 900 Yen (3 people) for “accommodation tax”. Not unusual for a ryokan in a tourist town, but it should have been stated on the Booking.com site.

Calm and very nice location. Staff helped send 3 Bags onwards to next hotel. Easy and swift, communication was good and the services provided were more personal than any other stay in Japan. A lovely old school Ryokan

I really liked the room and the onsen-style bathroom—truly relaxing and beneficial. The location is perfect, and the room was very spacious and beautiful.
I didn't like the fact that an extra fee is charged at check-in (which doesn't show up on Booking.com)... also, the hot water in the bathroom takes 10 minutes to half an hour to start working... I suggest fixing that... otherwise, we had a very good experience.

Le personnel était très avenant et souriant.
La chambre était propre, grande et les futons très confortables.
Le onsen était très agréable après une journée de marche.
Très bon emplacement, vous pouvez visiter le centre de Takayama à pied sans souci. Et l'auberge propose un petit parking pour laisser votre véhicule.
