A great hotel, fantastic location. Great breakfast.
We arrived after check in and found a lovely note explaining where our room was and what time breakfast was.

the lady on reception, who dealt with us at check-in and departure, was a delight and very helpful. The breakfast was plenty full and tasty. Being located immediately across from the Cloth Hall means that the location for all central Ypres sights, Menin Gate service, restaurants, bars and chocolate shops, is hard to beat. There is plenty of parking available on the square. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
the hotel is obviously having some work done. Bookings which fall after ours may not see this (no one was working whilst we were in residence and it wasn't intrusive). The lighting in our rooms was 'odd' - there was a low, red glow, but after playing with the switch bright white was available. Why the need to go through this routine each time?

Great location for visiting the Town, parking was on the street right outside the property too which was very convenient. Breakfast was good.
Digital key card for the room didn’t work which required numerous extra trips to reception!. The air-conditioning unit had a mind of its own which made it virtually uncontrollable. The pillow on the bed was like concrete so very difficult to get a good night sleep.
