Amazing Stay, Beautiful people, lovely cozy place with great view, free parking

Away from Milan one hour minimum to get to milan but if you want calmness and amazing view then its beautiful

We picked this hotel as it was conveniently situated close to the Swiss border and we wanted to visit Brissago and Locarno. Parking was fine, not a great number of spaces so get there early! Hotel situated just off main road about five minutes by car to Cannero Riviera. We had a nice room with a great view of the lake, effective air conditioning. Staff very pleasant. We had dinner on the terrace with a nice lakeside view; the meal was excellent and fairly good value for money. The buffet breakfast was also good and varied, with coffee being freshly prepared and served to you (a welcome change from the ubiquitous coffee machine).

The restaurant is not open every day of the week so check beforehand - if not then you will have to go into Cannero Riviera itself. The room price was a little in excess of what we would normally expect to pay for this type of hotel, but bear in mind its good views of the lake.

Emplacement, vue, gentillesse

We stopped for one night whilst travelling by motorcycle around Europe. The hotel was in an ideal position for us, close enough to town for a trail walk but far enough away that it wasn’t busy. We had a room on the 4th floor (top floor) which was a little awkward for carrying luggage but offered a spectacular view of the lake. We walked down from the hotel to the lake and had a swim - it was only 2m walk and the water was lovely. A note on parking - the hotel is on a slope, car parking spaces are off camber on the road, motorcycles can be accommodated in garage space. We didn’t know this when we arrived which caused some problems trying to park the bike on the slope. If you’re coming by bike, I suggest you message and agree the use of the garage and don’t risk attempting to park on the slope.

Apart from the stairs with heavy luggage, and not knowing about garages parking in advance, nothing to complain about here.
