The Grand Oasis Cancun - All Inclusive

The buffet was very good, the wait staff were friendly.

to be honest, I was a bit worried when I saw a relatively low average rating of this hotel and after staying there for a few nights, I don't understand the reasons. the staff was kind and welcoming, the amenities are OK (yes, a bit old-style but still clean). food decent. great deal for the price.

water pressure in the room was at some moments quite low. but this was not something, which would destroy the overall experience.

Loved all the activities that were available an the inter action with the staff was excellent

Beautiful property , Our room was spatular view of ocean, however we are older, DJ/Band lasted till 11 every night by the pool. I would had rather been on the quieter side…. Restaurants an staff was excellent. I will visit again soon.

breakfast - best restaurant was the buffet. food - La Luna exceptional food!!!

room - was old and tatty. needs a refurb. I requested a walk in shower room as i had sciatica (they all had baths), this was not given to me. i asked to change rooms, they sent me to 2 even further rooms than i was allocated, that was aggravating. i also had to go find the rooms myself. pool area - NO UMBRELLAS FOR SHADE!!!!!!!!!!!! NO SHADE UNLESS STANDING UNDER A PALM TREE. beach - no sunbeds or umbrellas to enjoy the beach. food - apart from La Luna, which the food was exceptional, all other restaurants were low quality and similar menu's. the hotel is split into 2 hotels (the other is the Pyramid) this is NOT obvious which areas you can go into. i was asked to get out of a pool that apparantely i wasn't allowed in, AFTER asking 2 members of staff if my wristband allowed me entrance and they said yes, i was denied buying coffee from another place only exclusive to the Pyramid (even though i said i would pay because i just wanted a decent coffee) when i complained to concierge, they said they would allow us late check out on the day due to our travel arrangements due to the inconvenience of this all, manager then said no, and basically said this problem is not ours its booking.coms!!
