A Wonderful Family Hotel – We Loved Every Moment! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Horizon Hotel in Sanya! Our six-year-old son loved every moment, and so did we! The hotel is a true paradise for families, with so many fun activities for children. A particular highlight was the opportunity to interact with and pet the animals, including bunnies, snakes, rats and birds. The foam party was another fantastic experience and so much fun! The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was warm and family-oriented. There was always something exciting for our son to discover, making our holiday truly memorable. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would absolutely choose the Horizon Hotel again whenever we return to beautiful Sanya. Highly recommended for families with children! Overall great value for money.

There was really nothing major to complain about! One small suggestion for improvement would be to expand the designated swimming areas in the ocean. We fully appreciate the importance of safety, especially with the tidal currents, and think it is excellent that clear warning signs are in place. However, the designated swimming areas are rather small and can become quite crowded when many guests want to enjoy the sea. With such a beautiful, spacious beach, wonderfully soft golden sand and fabulous water temperatures of around 27°C, it would be lovely to have a larger area where guests could safely swim further out into the ocean. We understand that swimming abilities and preferences vary among guests, but for many European visitors (visiting from Switzerland) , swimming in the ocean is an essential and much-loved part of a beach holiday. Perhaps the hotel could consider expanding the supervised swimming zones where sea conditions safely allow. This would make an already wonderful beach experience even better!

Красивый вид на побережье из номера. Очень зеленая и чистая территория. Продуманные маршруты с туалетами, зонтиками, едой и полотенцами. Много разнообразных бассейнов и выход на пляж прямо с территории отеля - очень удобно и безопасно. Если вы едете с детьми это отель 10\10, но и взрослым, которые ценят комфорт и спокойствие, понравится отсутствие шума на территории после 22:00. В отеле много ресторанов на любой вкус: традиционная китайская, европейская кухни. Персонал с переводчиками или знает русский\английский и очень заинтересован в качестве вашего отдыха, так, что чувствуешь себя в комфорте и безопасности. На пляже чисто и оборудованы зоны с шезлонгами под живыми деревьями, создающими тень и мест хватает всем. В течение дня проходят бесплатные семейные мероприятия такие как заплетания косичек, выступление дрессировщиков, клоунов, огненные шоу, акробаты и т.д Скучать не приходится.

Рекомендую отелю поставить сушильные машины в номерах либо в общей зоне, т.к. из-за влажного климата бывает тяжело высушить одежду, во время дождей(если солнце, то проблем нет). Слишком дотошные полицейские на пляже, выгоняют из моря даже если волн нет. Большая проблема, что море - территория для аква транспорта, на которой выделены маленькие зоны для купания, а не наоборот, как принято в остальном мире, где водный транспорт убирают от людей подальше. Но и эти трудности никак вам не помещают насладиться отдыхом в Отеле.

Если только больше свободы в возможности купания на глубине. Но есть обратная сторона - безопасность, поэтому, можно сказать, придираюсь.

The hotel has nice facilities for the families with kids: pools, slides. The new room is new indeed and has a washing machine, heated drying rack in the bath. The location is close to restaurants though the food there is so so. The gym is old but functional.

If you are not Chinese you probably come to the hotel on the beach to relax on a sun bed and swim next to the hotel. However, swimming was not allowed all the days I stayed there. You should go 15 min to the beach of Sheraton hotel to swim. There are no restrictions there and the waves are bigger. So it is better to stay in Sheraton. Although you cannot swim at Horizon beach, all kind of paid activities are allowed. It means that if you get an expensive room with a sea view and you will wake up with a constant noise from jet skis. Coconuts sold in the hotel were expensive and not fresh. Greed will kill the people.
