The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Really easy to get to. We walked from the free parking just a 10 minute walk away but you can drive into the ZTL zone to drop off suitcases etc and give your registration to the reception (you get half an hour) and then go and park up afterwards. The location could not be better. You are literally next door to the Basilica and a 7 minute walk from the Duomo and Palazzo (this is uphill). Many restaurant and bars just next door and then loads to choose from just a 5 minute walk in any direction. The rooms are somewhat aged and not modern but they are incredibly clean and beds are comfortable. The age of the shutters and doors etc add to the character of the hotel. Breakfast was basic but exactly what you would expect and good enough. Staff very friendly and helpful.

If you don't like being awakened by bells then don't stay here. I loved it, it's better than your phone alarm for work! There was an open air concert that was on while we were here that we didn't mind but it would have been nice if the hotel told us about it as it went on until midnight. Shower was a bit small but adequate.

The location of the property was perfect. It was a quaint hotel with all the amenities you’d need. The breakfast was scrumptious and included in the price. I’d definitely go again!!!

We stayed in the older part of the hotel. The air conditioning wasn’t as powerful as we would have liked.

The location is excellent!

The room was quite basic and neither my partner nor I could fit into the shower with the door closed (I just kept it open)! We had one grumpy receptionist upon arrival but then one absolutely delightful front desk person later on (Beatrice I think?). The instructions to drive there were very confusing - which is not great bc we misunderstood them and now may get a Eu60 fine for going the wrong way through the old town! That could have been made clearer!
