Spacious, excellent showers & wonderful balcony with a view in the distance of the Sagrada Família. Lovely touches like cold water and a welcome beer on a very hot day. Kitchen essentials provided - comfortable seating area and well placed between two metro stations. Supermarket directly opposite and a 15 minute walk to top of La Rambla.

For Brits, we need a bigger kettle for tea!

Insonorisation PAS TOP au niveau de l immeuble: on entendait souvent la douche et le bruit des chaussures ( talons ou plats ) des occupants au dessus de notre appartement= Ennuyeux la nuit!

Spacious accomodation Aldi across the road

I would definitely not class it as LUXURY. The bathroom which was shared between the 4 people staying in the twin & double rooms had no door on the toilet & no lock on the bathroom door. This is unacceptable for a shared bathroom. There is no reason why a bolt lock could not be fitted up high on the door. The twin beds were extremely lightweight & moved across the floor far too easily. They were unstable & tipped over if you sat on the edge of the bed. On the first evening my husband got out of bed during the night & ended up on the floor with the bed frame on its side & the mattress beside him. Other things to note: there is no mirror in the twin room or double room. The decor: frames with no pictures in & previous water damage are not LUXURY. The description of the property states 1 double room with en suite & 2 twin rooms. We booked it on this basis. There was actually 1 double room, which was disappointing & not what we booked. The double bed was very hard and not comfortable.
