Nous rêvions depuis la Suisse de découvrir un jour un ryokan traditionnel japonais, et Hozantei a dépassé tout ce que nous avions imaginé. Les onsen sont incroyables, la chambre magnifique, la nourriture exceptionnelle et le domaine semble tout droit sorti d’un film Ghibli. Se promener autour de la mare, observer les carpes koï et le petit couple de canards qui y a élu domicile, profiter du calme et de la nature… tout ici semble hors du temps. Mais ce qui restera peut-être le plus gravé dans nos mémoires, c’est la gentillesse et l’attention du personnel. Nous avons été incroyablement choyés et nous nous sommes sentis comme les personnes les plus importantes au monde pendant tout notre séjour. Kurokawa Onsen, à quelques pas, est également un très joli village où il est agréable de se promener. Hozantei était exactement le ryokan dont nous rêvions lorsque nous imaginions notre voyage au Japon. Un séjour magique que nous n’oublierons jamais. Nous espérons sincèrement avoir la chance d’y revenir un jour.

We stayed in the Deluxe Japanese-Style House with Open-Air Bath, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our room had a stunning view of the stream and a small waterfall, creating such a peaceful setting. The private outdoor bath was the perfect place to unwind, and the indoor bath also overlooked the stream. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, with so much care and attention to detail. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel cared for throughout our stay. When we left, the owner walked us out and continued waving goodbye until we drove up the hill and disappeared around the corner—a lovely personal touch. Our only regret was staying just one night. From the beautiful surroundings to the thoughtful hospitality, this is a place we will always remember.

Each ryokan has a distinctive character. Hozantei is no exception. The owner is delightful, staff friendly. Food absolutely delicious and seasonal. Feels like home from home ♥️🇯🇵

Nestled in a peaceful mountain forest, the setting is exceptionally quiet and serene, with a river flowing alongside. The facilities are excellent, featuring a cafe that is open during the day. The rooms are simply furnished, creating a highly relaxing atmosphere.The service staff from Taiwan are wonderful and can communicate directly with Mandarin-speaking guests. The owner is very friendly, and all the staff members are very attentive.
