Everything was clean and in working order. The staff was very friendly and taught me some new ways to use my Japanese.
I can't think of anything I disliked. People mentioned being able to hear the train from their room, which is true, but it's so faint I didn't have troubles falling asleep. If the fan is on, you can't hear it at all.

Location: Excellent — just a short walk from two stations, Dobutsuen-mae (Osaka Metro) and Shin-Imamiya (JR), making it really easy to get around Osaka. FamilyMart and other conveniences are also nearby.
Amenities: Basic amenities are readily available near the reception counter, so you can simply take what you need.
Room: Simple, tidy and comfortable. The bed was especially comfy
