Very comfortable and well equipped

It was spacious, easy to clean floors, kitchen & laundry facilities were good. The beds were comfortable and clean. Because of the situation of the property we were able to feed the fish, see the goat and ducks which our 5 year old twin grandchildren loved. The garden was good for the children to play in and the dogs to spend time outside. The village was lovely and surrounding area.
Only one toilet and bathroom, the door latches didn’t always hold the doors shut, though I understand that was due to the age of the building being a listed building

It is in a beautiful location, peaceful. lounge a nice place to relax.
uncomfortable and small beds. would consider replacing with modern king size. Dark old fashioned furniture. some kitchen cupboards needed a wipe and also quite dusty upstairs. unusual not to provide towels. woken in night by loud pipes. Also even just a small welcome gift helps. told to collect key from another house but couldn’t find anyone to start with and then turns out key was inside the cottage - the door was just stiff to open. It would also be nice to have a newer bench or 2 to sit outside. very old rickety picnic bench only place to sit.
