El alojamiento está bien ubicado en Funchal. La cocina está muy bien equipada, el salón es cómodo y amplio, y tiene una pequeña terraza muy agradable. Dispone de un cuarto con una cama doble y otro cuarto con 2 camas individuales. También tiene parking propio con una plaza muy amplia, lo que facilita mucho dejar el coche en Funchal.

Fuimos en septiembre y en la casa hacía mucho calor, solo dispone de ventiladores sin aire acondicionado y resultaba difícil ventilar la casa, porque a las noches apenas refresca y entraban muchos mosquitos. Además, está ubicado en una calle muy ruidosa por las noches debido a un bar cercano, por lo que entre el ruido y el calor nos resultó difícil dormir. Además, se cobran 40€ extra si realizas el check-in más allá de las 21:00.

Laitteiden käyttöohjeistus oli puutteellista tai sitä ei ollut. Lämpimän veden vaihteli/ kesti ennen kuin sitä sai. Muutamista keittiövälineiden puutteesta tai rikkinäisistä välineistä joista jätimme listan.

The location was excellent, apartment had great facilities. The host was lovely!

The only thing was it was a bit dark at night time getting in & out of the property. There were lights but you had to press them on.

Check in was very easy as we were met by Carla, who was very helpful and friendly. She guided us to the carpark, which would have been very difficult to find without her help. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen, though small, was particularly well provided for and any utensil we could have wished for was available. The hob, oven and microwave were all in perfect working order and were spotlessly clean. There was even some oils, vinegar and seasoning in the press which is very useful when you are only staying for a short while. The apartment was spacious and the balcony was an added bonus. We sat there most evenings, and though we could just about see the sea, it was most pleasant to be able to do so. The location in the Old Town is excellent and it is very close to many good restaurants and the marina. While there are some small grocery stores nearby, the Pingo Dolce supermarket in the basement of the Anadia Shopping Centre is not far away and has a huge range of products at very good prices. The cable car to Monte Palace and tropical gardens is very close and this is well worth doing. The views are amazing and the gardens are most interesting to explore. Wear good footwear though, as it is quite steep in places.

We visited in September so it wasn't overly hot. There is no air conditioning so this may be a an issue in the summer. There are fans in both bedrooms which worked well but, in the absence of air conditioning, a fan in the living area would be helpful. It was close to a busy karaoke bar and so there tended to be a lot of noise until about 1am. After that it settled down and was peaceful for the rest of the night.
