Surya Kiran Heritage Hotel

Beautiful heritage building with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Also worth noting that the Goan food at the hotel restaurant was some of the best we've had in Goa.

The beds could have been a bit firmer and more comfortable for our aging backs. This was the one and only negative aspect to what was otherwise an awesome stay.

very spotty Wi-fi My main issues were the mosquitos, i woke up in the middle of the night with about 25 bites, inlcuding 6 in my face. I was really wondering how they got in, since the room didnt have a real window and my doors were never open. Turns out the bathroom had a head-sized hole in the wall. I have been to many tropical countries but have never seen anything like this. Any sane person would either close the hole or put a net over it. Sorry but at this price point this is unacceptable. It's a nice proerty but i wouldnt recomment staying, would rather go to the beach directly or Old Goa. There is not much to do in the area.
