The hotel was not so far from the historic centre and marina. In one of the days we had to leave really early for a boat experience and they gave us a breakfast box, what was really nice!
The beach in front of the hotel is not great.

location was fantastic. I liked that it was away from the main thrust of the tourist old city area but that it was a very easy walk to get to that part of town. Loved the pool area and breakfast was a fantastic added incentive to book. Lots of variety and great outdoor space to enjoy it in. Also very close to a good swimming beach. Very spacious room. Enjoyed the snack that was waiting for us when we arrived especially the local wine.
Did not like the lights over the bed. Cool yes but not that functional as they were so high above the bed that i stayed up later than my friend and she was having a hard time sleeping with it. Some noise got in at random parts of the night as people walked on the street behind the hotel and also could hear the live music from another hotel a couple blocks away late into the night. Also wished the pool had been open a smidge later as a night swim after a hot walk back would have been great

The hotel is practically on the best public beach in town. Go early to enjoy it to the fullest. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is sort of updated, cute modern design..
Two lamps, one by the bed and one by the desk did not work and refused to be fixed by the staff person. The room was not cleaned properly; a dirty napkin was left on the table desk as a testimony to that. There were no USB ports to be fund in the room or almost anywhere on the ground floor or in the lobby, except at the front desk.
