The location was outstanding and the view to the castle was excellent.
The room itself was adequate but I was not prepared for no breakfast service available. This was due to the fact as was explained once arrived that it was now off season, the staff did offer a cold breakfast for 12 euros which was not bad but very basic. Also, in general there seemed to be nobody at the desk for the most part during my stay I guess due in part to being off season and attention focused on running the restaurant.

Little outdated room decor. Very limited choice breakfast at the pizza place next door.

The property was beautiful. I only wish I had read the fine print about requesting a parking space and details about the sauna bookings. Next time, I’ll be sure to book a much longer stay here. It was lovely and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind!

Quirky rooms which were pleasant and clean. Air con worked a treat, staff were friendly. View from hotel is great.
I asked for an early check-in a few weeks prior to arrival, I was told this would not be a problem, however, on arrival at 12ish the room wasn't ready. We were also told breakfast was 10-12 so went at 11 after a late night out to be told it was finished! Not enough tea and coffee in the room for 2 people and no milk. Adequate towels were provided but not the quality I'd expect from a 4* overall the stay was pleasant but not really a 4* standard.
