Hotel Schiffahrt

We chose this hotel as a one-night stop-off on our European motorcycle tour, as it offered a great location and onsite parking. We were not disappointed and were given a warm welcome and found all the staff friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, which is important when you have bulky bike clothing and helmets. An added bonus was the terrace with stunning views. We ate in the restaurant that offered a selection of local cuisine all well-cooked. Breakfast offered a good choice with excellent cheeses. The location opposite the lake with its attractive walks was perfect and the small village is within a short stroll. This hotel is highly recommended if you are into hiking, cycling or on water sports.

Convenient stop over with great lakeside views

The staff were a little cold. And after eating a good meal on the terrace the wonderful clean mountain air was spoilt by many other people lighting up cigarettes! Thought the Swiss enjoyed clean air?

Nous avons été très bien reçu lors du premier contact, nous avons même reçu la clé de notre chambre avant car nous avions rdv au festival.

Alors nous avons pensé que nous mangerions à l’hôtel le deuxième soir mais à peine avions nous reçu notre apéritif que notre filet de bœuf était déjà sous notre nez 🫣 Bien dommage!

Comfortable hotel in a lakeside location, very friendly and welcoming staff. Good restaurant and breakfast. Comfortable spacious rooms.

The rooms felt a little overpriced for the facilities provided.
