The staff is superb. Friendly, helpful, polite and caring. The location is good for bus. The breakfast is decent, and nutritional. The view is great, but only in some certain room type.

My room 104 view is rather below my expectation. There was a big green ugly rooftop just outside my balcony. To be honest I paid almost 350 euros per night I deserve a better view. The facility is not good enough, the draining water did not go smooth in the bathroom. I told the staff this related matter, but I was told it was Sunday so no one could come and fix it. At the end I needed to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. Otherwise the water will flood the bathroom.

Great location. Wonderful views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner was nice.

Rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment.

We travelled as a family of 4 (2x adults & 2x young boys). The hotel is lovely, very pretty. The location is probably the best in St Wolfgan if arriving by car as there is a small hotel carpark adjacent. This was full when we arrived, the receptionist provided us with a pass for the main public carpark just next door which covered parking costs for our full stay (it was actually better parking in there as spaces are more generous). Breakfast was good with plenty of options even for the children. The omelettes are particularly good! Room was of reasonable size for a family with large balcony with views of the lake. Clean and comfortable. St wolfgan is a lovely, pretty place to visit, plenty of nice restaurants. We enjoyed taking the ferry to also visiting st gilgen for the day.

Our room was on the first floor directly above the outside seating area of the restaurant, this meant when sat on the balcony it felt like we were too close/ in the eyeline of diners, and so not very private. Though one evening when the live band played it did mean we had front row seats.

The reception staff and restaurant team were truly outstanding and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The reception staff were amazing, welcoming, and very helpful, and the restaurant team were always friendly and attentive. The location is perfect, and the room views are beautiful.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was very poor.The room and linen were not properly cleaned .
