Aeolos Beach Resort

We had a wonderful stay in a Sunrise Room, which was modern and spacious with a fantastic sea view. The hotel offers convenient buggies for getting around, although walking is a good way to stay active and the grounds are stunning. The beach is somewhat narrow, but there is a lovely pier with sunbeds where you can relax, and the sea is beautifully clear. The buffet was of excellent quality at both breakfast and dinner, and a very pleasant lunch was served on the beach. The gym could be more modern, but it has everything you need for a good workout, including dumbbells and a treadmill. Overall, we left with very positive impressions.

The business of the restaurant at dinner. I disliked that the sun loungers face the pool in all the pools, ensuring that one is being looked at and observed like contestants in a pool competition.

Stunning location and facilities. Lots of options for pools or beach. I don’t usually enjoy all inclusive but did enjoy this one - nice food & drinks.

As mentioned elsewhere the walk is generally uphill which could challenge some people but buggy’s are available.

The resort is very spread out across a steep hill, so it takes quite a long time to get anywhere from your room, even when using the buggy service. The food is plentiful, but unfortunately seems to focus more on quantity than quality, and there wasn’t much that we found genuinely enjoyable. There is also very little shade around the family pool, and if you arrive later in the day, it can be difficult to find available sunbeds. The beach was another disappointment. The sunbeds were not particularly clean, the beach itself has very sharp pebbles, and the water did not look clean.
