The friendly and helpful staff at the reception and in the restaurant. The room was updated and very clean. The queen bed was very comfortable and you cannot feel any disturbance from your partner. The motel has a locked gate out the front, so your car is very secure. A very pleasant stay.

Great location to train station, cafes. Room was spacious and had a well appointed kitchen for lengthy stays. Plenty of onsite parking. We have stayed here on numerous occassions as it suits our needs perfectly.

The bed was very comfortable! Great that there was a small TV in each bedroom. The kitchen was clean, along with the fridge.

Our first impression of the property was extremely concerning. On arrival, we were confronted with what appeared to be a literal crime scene, with approximately 15–20 police officers present, photographs being taken, and crime scene officers in yellow suits examining an upstairs room. Naturally, I asked reception whether everything was okay and whether it was safe for us to stay. The response I received was, “My manager doesn’t know what’s happening.” This was hardly reassuring and left us feeling very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself also fell well short of expectations. The TV wall mounts need to be updated so the television can swivel and be viewed comfortably from all beds, rather than only from the single bed. Cleanliness was another major concern. Perhaps I have high standards, but the attached photos speak for themselves. The cleaning trolleys, with laundry bags left in them, were also stored in the driveway and car park as you drive into the property, which did not create a welcoming first impression. The room was very small for a living, dining and kitchen area intended to accommodate more than two people. The shower was extraordinarily noisy, to the point where you almost needed earplugs. Even worse, water leaked out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor. By the time all three of us had showered, we had used every one of the five towels provided to soak up the water. The towels themselves were extremely small and had a very dusty smell. The condition of the toilet brush was absolutely disgusting and raised further concerns about the overall standard of cleanliness. To top it all off, when I got into the shower, I discovered that both the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. They also appeared to have been sitting there for quite some time, with a distinctive orange-coloured residue around the tops. Overall, this stay was disappointing on several levels, I would struggle to recommend this accommodation.
