Dormy Inn Toyama Natural Hot Spring

It has a great in-house natural hot spring. One can chose among various baths of different temperature. There is also a sauna. In the same floor they offer free ice cream which is great after the hot bath.

The entire facility and my experience with it was really great, but the onsen is simply spectacular. I lived in Japan for 5 years back in the early 2000's and travelled quite a bit around the whole country at the time. This was probably the most beautiful and relaxing onsen I've ever enjoyed. Even better, the hotel offers courtesy ice cream, courtesy yakult bottles and courtesy coffee during office hours, plus courtesy late-night ramen noodles and beverages to all guests. They also provide every guest with beautiful, comfortable, high-quality pajamas and slippers, so you can walk around between your room, the onsen and the restaurant. Honestly, I wish there was a hotel like this in every place to which I travel!

Probably the only thing that can be considered frustrating is when you go for one of those many courtesy amenities but can't get it because it's past the availability time.

Good location . The onsen is the best thing about the hotel as well as the gracious and helpful employees at the front desk . The room setup for a single was strange - like a kitchen counter with sink right next to the bed - speaking of bed, it was rock hard and very uncomfortable. The worse view out of the window: hext doors industrial equipment.
