Hotel Restaurant Alatsee

Incredibly friendly staff, really nice breakfast (we loved the fresh waffles), great dinner in the hotel restaurant, very picturesque setting by the lake, ... It is truly beautiful out there. If you are looking to enjoy some peace and quiet, this is the place to do so!

The bathroom is shared, so it's not always free. But it didn't bother us much.

Hôtel un peu ancien (moquette partout dans les chambres) mais propre et idéalement situé. La literie est correcte, le petit déjeuner est bien complet. Nous avions peur au vu de certains commentaires mais il y a de tout et c’est bon (il faut cependant arriver au début car nous avons vu que certaines choses ne sont pas forcément réapprovisionnées comme le fromage). Les douches et toilettes communs sont propres. Le frigo du restaurant est à disposition si vous souhaitez y laisser des aliments. Parking gratuit alors que toute la zone est payante. Installation chouette au lac pour sauter et s’amuser.

Les horaires du petit dej : début à 8h, l’été ça serait chouette de commencer au moins à 7h30 !

The location is perfect, directly at the lake and the breakfast was nice. The rooms are small and squeaky but comfortable.

The toilets were used by males and females and I would prefer a clear labeling for women. Men are such pigs when they pee. Disgusting! Maybe some signs to sit down to pee.

The location was nice on a lovely lake with hiking trails. The breakfasts were buffet style, and the food was good.

Because there were no bathrooms in the rooms, you had to unlock your door in the middle of the night to go down the hall to a bathroom. The door handles were clunky and loud when you opened them as were the bathrooms' handles. Nice rustic look, but VERY noisy and you woke up every time someone left their room. The end of our hall barely had any light (you couldn't even see where the key fit into the lock), so more light would have been welcome. The worst thing was having ordered a glass of tap water with dinner and being charged E 3.90 for "still water." That was truly outrageous, especially when they offered free bottles of water in the room. Had we known, we would have brought a bottle of water down with us.
