The team was incredibly gracious and lovely, and made us feel welcome the entire stay. The location was perfect: close to Kyoto Station and plenty of sights, but tucked away on a quiet side street. The rooms were cute and gave us a true traditional ryokan experience. The food was incredible, and the staff made every meal feel special with how warm and attentive they were.
I loved everything

Classic, nice ryokan just few minutes walking from the train Station. Staff is extremely nice, they offered us tea as soon as we arrived and move our luggage to the room. We had the impression we were alone because everything was quiet and calm. We had the kaiseki dinner and it was really good as well as the traditional Japanese breakfast. Onsen was small but also very nice. You can do it despite having tattoos but they have to be very small. Free tea and bottle of water in the room as well.

Excellent Japanese room and there’s a nice public bath in the basement
Nothing comes to mind!

Petit déjeuner servi sans choix possible. Pas les bouteilles d'eau habituelles dans le mini frigo comme l'on trouve dans la majorité des hôtels. Vu le prix de la chambre, c'est un peu abusé, tout comme la mini baignoire.
