The view is amazing. The location and view of the area can't be better! The staff is super friendly and it is so convenient having the restaurant there. They had a very nice breakfast with many options.
It has all the conveniences you need and you should request a room with a lake view balcony because the view when sitting on a balcony is so pretty.
You are part way up the mountain, so it takes a little while (10 min) to get down to the center of Lugano.
But you can either drive (parking is free) or walk or take the funicular or bus down & it is thoroughly worth it because the view is so stunning! You won't see a view like this anywhere else so you don't really mind taking the time to get down because each turn in the road brings another pretty view!

Super friendly and helpful Staff. cleanliness spot on. Great breakfast buffet.
Absolutely stunning views of the lake and town from high up in the hillside. The rooms are decent size and well equipped and comfy.
Decor is dated, but to be honest upgrading would cost probably more than the benefit it would bring. Also the pool is accessed across a road, you don’t see this on the photos. Any disabled access would be difficult as steps to entrance.
