The property owner is very friendly and helpful and provides a load of useful information about the area. The location was excellent, being just outside Sciacca and with access to a small beach with clean clear water. There is also a larger beach with facilities and a cafe/restaurant within walking distance (although the road back is quite steep in the heat so much easier in a 3 minute car journey). For the small beach below the accommodation, I would recommend rock shoes for swimming. Although you can paddle knee deep, to get out to any depth for snorkelling, there are some stones/rocks underfoot. The accommodation building with four apartments is in the middle of an olive grove and although our apartment was furthest from the sea, we still had good views of the sea and the evening sunsets. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The two bedroom apartment we had was very spacious. The bedrooms were a good size and there were two bathrooms with excellent showers. The kitchen dining room was well equipped and there was a small balcony with table and chairs. There was air conditioning in one of the bedrooms and that worked well and was quiet. The bedroom windows opened and had very useful screening for insects. There are supermarkets and restaurants within easy reach by car.

There was not much not to like. We even got used to making coffee in the mokka pots which we had little experience of using :-)

Wir hatten eine sehr saubere und gepflegte Ferienwohnung im Erdgeschoss - mit einer wunderbaren privaten Terrasse (Apartment Verde). Das Anwesen liegt in einem Olivenhain in ruhiger Lage auf einem Hügel über dem Meer. Wir haben besonders die Aussicht vom gemeinschaftlichen Garten auf das Meer genossen. In ein paar Minuten erreicht man über einen steilen Fußweg die fast private Bucht - es gibt auch einen flacheren Weg für den Aufstieg zum Haus. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nach ein paar Kilometern Autofahrt ist Sciacca erreicht.

Die Bucht mit schönem Sandstrand ist leider recht voll mit Seegras, was es erschwert, in das Wasser zu gehen . Die teilweise alten, grünen Liegestühle könnten ersetzt werden.

Perfetta l’accoglienza da parte della Signora Mariana; le sue spiegazioni appena arrivati aiutano a comprendere come comportarsi soprattutto per la gestione dei rifiuti e degli spazi comuni. Parcheggio con 4 ampi posti auto. Struttura molto bella, ubicata tra gli ulivi. Spettacolare la vista verso il mare e la città. Alloggi molto ampi e accoglienti. Area comune molto ampia dove è possibile rilassarsi ed anche usufruire di una zona barbecue. Accesso al mare direttamente dalla struttura; ovviamente un po’ impegnativo visto il dislivello tra le abitazioni e il mare. Tutto perfetto
