Gorgeous room - really welcoming and cosy and had everything you could need for a few nights away. If im back in the area again, I will be staying here!

Location was good for our needs. Cosy pub with good beer. Pleasing room.
Surprised to be told on arrival that the restaurant was closed on a Monday. I can find no evidence of this on either the Inn's website or Booking.com; indeed both continue to show that it is! Having already walked 12 miles, walking to another village for dinner was out of the question. Pizza delivery was required. Not wanting a 'full English' for breakfast, we thought we had negotiated to have a lighter option the night before. Unfortunately, this was not the case and were informed that no breakfast was actually available when we tried the restaurant in the morning.
