Very spacious, lovely stay

Location was quiet and relaxing. The house could use a good deep clean. There were cobwebs and small bugs in corners in bedrooms and cobwebs all over house.

We had a great stay this weekend. We had everything we needed. Sure A/C is nice but if you've ever lived without it you know to open the windows at night or in the early morning and then close everything up before it hits 70 and keep the fans on. It was up to 100° this weekend and we had no issues. Plenty of space and the hosts were easy to get a hold of if we had any questions or issues. All in all a great stay and we would stay here again! This rental was large and the owner was very pleasant and had prepped for the large group that was going to there. First, the positives! The kitchen was pleasantly equipped with tools and pots and pans. The mattresses were mostly comfortable. The rooms were well able to accommodate large groups of people. The house was very clean. The reason for the 3 star review was mainly because of two pretty significant things. Firstly, there was no air conditioning and we were there in August and it was hot! Secondly, and really the biggest issue, was that rental check in and out times were both listed as being noon. Turns out, this was not the case. Check in is actually 4pm and check out is 11am. Neither of these would have been an issue if we’d known ahead of time. We could have rearranged travel schedules. Since this was a family reunion, I felt like we missed out on our last leisurely morning together because we were in a hurry to check out.
