The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom had all we needed. I enjoyed the complimentary water and tea in the room. The lounge downstairs was nice to hang out in and noodle on my laptop while listening to Lana Del Rey. The staff was very helpful, finding us an extra blanket and even a chair, and friendly as well, giving some history of the hotel. The art was interesting and the decor quite distinctive. We did not try the restaurant.
There was not much we didn't like. The lift is a bit small and slow, and would be difficult to access as a wheelchair user without someone to open the door.

A lovely place and location was amazing !
We stayed in the upgraded room and it was amazing arrived on the Friday and the room never got made up the whole weekend. So no fresh towels or coffee pods ect we told the staff and still nothing was changed and a mild standard oh we are sorry for that on leaving. Really poor for a high end place.
