Delfina and team staff were incredibly helpful, friendly in a relaxed way. Everything was beautifully appointed.
There were no beach chairs as it was off season but 80 degrees. However we were surprised the rocks were very okay and the water warm - our first dip in the Mediterranean.

The breakfast was not the best, the scrambled eggs with raw and the toaster did not work
I didn't like that my room was not at all what was describled on booking.com I was a tiny room not at all like the ones I saw on the website. The manager did get be a better room and that was great

The location was excellent - a short walk from the ferry pier, and close to the main town of Amalfi. While most accommodations in Amalfi had numerous stairs you had to climb, Hotel Aurora was ground level with an elevator that made it very easy to access even with several pieces of luggage.
The beds were a bit firmer than we were used to.

The location of the property well suited our to hike the Path of the Gods and the Path of Lemons.
The 4-star rating is over-stated and undeserved. The staff member, a lady, on the daytime shift at Reception was rude and obnoxious and only performed her duties grudgingly after being pressed. All the other staff members were polite and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
