Clean modern facilities and all within 5 mins walk from city centre. Rooms are spacious with excellent bathrooms. We took the breakfast option which was value for money. Bar prices ok.

Fairly poor selection of vegan breakfast.

Everything was great during our stay. The breakfast was varied and had plenty of options. Despite reading reviews mentioning crowds, we personally did not experience any significant queues or overcrowding. The pool is located in the neighboring building and, since it is relatively small, you need to make a reservation in advance. However, it was clean and well maintained, and towels were provided by the hotel. Parking was also very convenient. We had no problem finding a spot on the street directly in front of the hotel. Street parking is free on weekends, while on weekdays (Monday to Friday) it is paid from around 10 a.m. until the afternoon. Payment can be made at the parking meters, including by card. A great extra was the mineral water available on each floor — very convenient and much appreciated. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay and would happily come back.

The only thing I did not appreciate was the receptionist’s attitude when I asked if she could help us make a reservation for the pool. She visibly rolled her eyes and simply said “no” in a rather harsh manner. Even if she was unable to assist us, a more polite and friendly response would have made a much better impression.

Pros: - room was spacious, clean and quiet - amenities within the room were fine, nothing mind-blowing, but ok for our one night stay - bed was super comfortable and longer than usual, which provided my tall partner with extra comfort - everything in working order with exception for a ceiling light - modern and clean room decor, comfortable furniture, including sofa and chairs

Cons: - location was ok, but we needed to walk quite a bit to reach the hotel from the old town centre - spa and swimming pool booking system put us off from using these facilities, so perhaps this can be improved and not limited to 60 mins per day per guest
