Onsen was great! Papa, the owner is an excellent host. We felt welcomed and accommodated our entire stay.
Noise levels from other Residents. Our room was outside the shared bathroom and steps, which I enjoyed for the convenience. But you can hear everything, and when you have individuals that slam doors and stump when they walk It's becomes a nuisance. Especially, when they're traversing back and forth starting at 3AM.

Quiet little corner near Alpenblick. The rooms were comfy and warm at nights. Large window/balcony that u can open for fresh air. No noise or rowdy drunks at night. Nice simple breakfast and the place have their private onsen. The old couple running the place are very friendly and accomodating. They drove us daily to the resorts because we didnt have a car. Papa is super friendly and helpful.
Its a little far off from everything so rental car is recommended. Thin walls, u may hear people snoring at night but thats about it. Jsut dont expect modern rooms with tvs and all.

The couple that run the accommodation are very sweet, helpful and happy to drive us around. The heating was good and it was very warm and cosy.
As we were there at peak time for skiing, we paid a LOT of money for what is really VERY BASIC accommodation that is not well serviced. As there is no food apart from a basic breakfast (extra cost) available at the property, you have to go out to eat and there's very little around to walk to, you really need a car. There's no kitchen facilities for guests apart from hot water from a machine and a shared fridge, so nowhere to assemble a meal or crockery or utensils to use. There is no shower in the hostel and you have to use the onsen over the road, which some guests might not be comfortable with, although we quite liked.
